To further standardize lawyers' professional conduct and strengthen the construction of the practice risk prevention and control system, Guangdong Hebang Law Firm (hereinafter referred to as Hebang Firm) successfully held the 162nd session of the "Lawyers' Professional Ethics and Practice Discipline Training" organized by the Guangzhou Lawyers Association on August 19, 2025, in the large conference room on the 23rd floor. The training specially invited lawyer Tang Jun, director of the Guangzhou Lawyers Association's Member Violation Punishment Work Committee, as the keynote speaker, who delivered an in-depth lecture on lawyer professional ethics norms, practice discipline requirements, and risk prevention points.

The meeting was presided over by He Kuikui, the executive director of the management committee of He Bang Law Firm. Zhong Qisheng, the secretary of the party branch of He Bang Law Firm, Huang Aihua, the director of the management committee, Guo Fei, the executive director, Wu Shuxiong, Xu Kefan, Zhang Wenbin, He Runrong, Fang Xiongwen, Rao Yang and more than 50 lawyers and assistants from the firm attended the meeting to jointly participate in this industry standard learning.

At the beginning of the training, Zhong Qisheng, the secretary of the Party branch of He Bang Law Firm, expressed warm welcome and heartfelt thanks on behalf of the law firm for the visit and guidance of Director Tang Jun, and emphasized the core value of lawyer professional ethics and practice discipline training. He pointed out that as an important member of the legal professional community, lawyers must continuously improve their professional quality and practice level, and internalize good professional ethics and strict practice discipline into their practice consciousness. He hoped that all trainees would cherish this learning opportunity, always adhere to the original mission of "people's lawyers for the people" on the future practice path, take honesty and trustworthiness as the criterion, and diligence and responsibility as the bottom line, to fulfill the professional responsibility of lawyers.
During the training session, Director Tang Jun focused on "Professional Norms and Risk Prevention and Control for Lawyers" and provided a systematic explanation from four dimensions: professional norms system, relevant laws and regulations, common types of violations, and disciplinary standards. Combining typical cases in the industry in recent years, he deeply analyzed the potential risk points of violations that lawyers may encounter in case representation, client communication, and conflict of interest handling, and proposed targeted full-process prevention measures of "pre-examination, in-process monitoring, and post-review", providing clear guidance for lawyers to practice professionally.
At the end of the training, lawyer He Kuikui summarized the event. He once again thanked Director Tang Jun for his wonderful lecture and all the participants for their active participation. He emphasized that "every complaint case and every violation record should be a professional warning to all lawyers."
