

On June 26, 2025, the internal meeting of the Compliance Legal Service Products of the Compliance Committee of the Guangzhou Lawyers Association was successfully held at Guangdong He Bang Law Firm. The meeting was chaired by Liu Anquan, Secretary-General of the Compliance Committee. Jiang Ting, Director of the Compliance Committee, Ye Peng, Deputy Director of the Compliance Committee, Huang Aihua, Yang Aibin, Fang Xiongwen, and other representatives from He Bang Law Firm attended and participated in the discussion. Nearly 20 practicing lawyers, corporate lawyers, and committee members attended the meeting, engaging in in-depth discussions on topics such as the revision of enterprise compliance business guidelines, ESG business development, and compliance product innovation.

Deputy Director Ye Peng shared the award-winning experience of the National Legal Service Product Competition, emphasizing that product design should accurately match customer needs and undergo continuous iteration and updating. Lawyer Yang Aibin, founding partner of Hebang Law Firm, chairman of the partners' meeting, and chairman of the supervisory board, introduced the development history of Hebang Law Firm's compliance legal business based on his professional experience, analyzed the professional advantages of lawyers engaged in compliance work, and looked forward to the development prospects of lawyers' compliance legal business.
ESG business ushers in development opportunities, and lawyer services have great potential
With the advancement of the "dual carbon" goals, ESG business has become a new growth point. Zhang Haipeng and Lin Liyun, members of the Compliance Committee, shared their insights on practical issues such as the preparation of ESG reports and carbon emissions trading. Fang Xiongwen, deputy director of the Energy Dual Carbon Committee of the Municipal Lawyers Association and partner of He Bang Law Firm, suggested that the Compliance Committee and the Energy Dual Carbon Committee could strengthen cooperation to jointly serve the ESG needs of enterprises.
Collaborate across domains to jointly foster the development of a compliant ecosystem
Lawyer Chen Longjiang, the head of the General Team of the Compliance Committee, introduced two core focuses for expanding the legal compliance business in the private enterprise market from the perspective of a corporate legal general manager, based on his own work experience: decision-making assistance and cost control. Lawyer Liu Anquan summarized and pointed out that compliance work should not only focus on product research and development but also strengthen cooperation with institutions such as the Business Environment Research Institute to formulate policy recommendations. Director Huang Aihua of the Management Committee of Hebang Law Firm stated that the firm will fully support the work of the Compliance Committee and jointly promote the development of the industry.
This meeting has provided a clear path for the development of compliance business.
