Lawyer Yang Aibin, Chairman of the Partners' Meeting, Director Huang Zhiwei, Executive Directors Li Rong, Liu Anquan, and Wu Shuxiong, Deputy Director Lu Xuhui, and partners Peng Manyun, Lin Xiaoming, Gong Niya, and Cen Guoli were warmly received.

At the beginning of the meeting, Director Li Rong first extended a warm welcome to Vice President Jiang Yuyan and her delegation. He then gave a detailed introduction to the development history, business areas, and future plans of He Bang Law Firm. He expressed that as a practical teaching base of the School of Humanities and Law at South China Agricultural University, He Bang Law Firm hopes to strengthen closer exchanges and cooperation with the university. This includes actively recruiting and training interns to provide a platform for practical training for law students at South China Agricultural University; carrying out campus recruitment activities to select outstanding talents to join the He Bang family; and promoting He Bang lawyers to pursue further studies and teach practical courses at South China Agricultural University, enabling two-way communication between theory and practice.

When introducing the situation of the College of Humanities and Law, Chen Xiaodong, the Party Secretary of the College, emphasized the innovative reform of talent cultivation mode. Secretary Chen Xiaodong stated that the college is promoting the optimization of the curriculum system and the reform of practical teaching, and is committed to cultivating versatile legal talents who understand theory and excel in practice. He also expressed his hope to further cooperate with Hebang and provide students with employment guidance and internship opportunities through activities such as "law firms entering campus".

Director Yang Aibin stated that in 2023, Hebang Law Firm, as one of the three law firms in Guangzhou, passed the assessment and review of the legal professional postdoctoral practice base. If necessary, both parties can further communicate and exchange ideas in talent cultivation, and establish a closer cooperation mechanism for talent cultivation.

Jiang Yuyan, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of South China Agricultural University, summarized and pointed out that under the high-quality development of the economy, the demand for legal talents and the quality requirements of society have been simultaneously improved. Faced with the severe employment situation of graduates, promoting employment is an important mission for universities. The school attaches great importance to the development of law disciplines and looks forward to deepening cooperation with Hebang in areas such as talent cultivation and internship base construction, to achieve precise matching between school and enterprise talent supply and demand.

During the free exchange session, both parties engaged in in-depth and lively discussions around core topics such as the cultivation of legal talents in universities and internship practices. Director Huang Zhiwei, leveraging his extensive industry experience, provided unique and practical advice on how university graduates can enhance their practical skills. Alumni representatives from South China Agricultural University, partners Peng Manyun and lawyer Cen Guoli, also shared their work and development journeys at HeBang, as well as their growth and achievements in practice. They also offered constructive suggestions for cooperation between universities and law firms.

The participants unanimously agreed that strengthening the collaboration between universities and law firms is akin to building a bridge connecting theory and practice. This not only provides a high-quality platform for students' growth, allowing them to accumulate experience and enhance their abilities through practice, but also injects fresh vitality into the development of law firms, achieving a mutually beneficial and win-win situation.

At the end of the meeting, all participants took a group photo as a souvenir. This exchange activity laid a solid foundation for further cooperation between South China Agricultural University and Guangdong Hebang Law Firm. Both parties will work together to explore new paths for the integration of legal education and practice, and strive to cultivate more outstanding legal talents.
