Recently, upon the invitation of the People's Armed Forces Department of Yuexiu District, our senior partner and executive director of the management committee, lawyer Jiang Ting, served as the keynote speaker for a unique pre-service legal awareness lecture for the upcoming 2025 spring recruits who will soon enter the military camp in Yuexiu District. The lecture aimed to empower the military dream through legal knowledge and assist the recruits in taking their first step in their military career.
The lecture focused on core obligations of military service according to the law, protection of the rights and interests of military personnel and their families, legal protection for military personnel in performing their duties, and aspects related to future military careers. Lawyer Jiang Ting provided an in-depth interpretation of the Military Service Law, the Law on the Protection of the Status and Rights of Military Personnel, the Regulations on Pensions and Preferential Treatment for Military Personnel, the Criminal Law, and the Civil Code, especially those parts related to military personnel, especially new recruits. He not only explained China's basic military service system but also used case studies to popularize the illegal punishment for refusing military service, helping new recruits eliminate legal "blind spots" and cognitive "misunderstandings" and fasten the first "button" in their military careers.
The atmosphere at the lecture was lively, with the new soldiers listening intently and responding actively. Lawyer Jiang Ting triggered deep reflection on the responsibilities of soldiers by analyzing typical cases. The course was also interspersed with carefully produced short videos on law popularization, which explained legal provisions in a vivid and lively manner, both enlivening the atmosphere and deepening the effect of legal learning.

He currently serves as a director of the Legal Risk Research Association of the Guangdong Law Society, a director of the Lawyers' Studies Research Association, a member of the Education Professional Committee of the Guangdong Lawyers Association, the director of the Corporate Compliance Professional Committee of the Guangzhou Lawyers Association, an arbitrator of the Zhanjiang Arbitration Commission/Zhanjiang International Arbitration Court, a lawyer on the list of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, the chief legal advisory expert of Guangzhou, an expert on the third-party supervision and evaluation list of enterprises involved in cases supervised by the Yuexiu District Procuratorate, the head of the private enterprise compliance publicity team in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou, and a member of the "Eighth Five-Year Plan" legal publicity lecture team in Yuexiu District.
