On the afternoon of February 17, 2025, Guangdong Hebang Law Firm successfully held its first plenary partner meeting of 2025 in the large conference room on the 23rd floor. The purpose of this meeting was to study and determine the overall strategic planning of the firm for 2025, comprehensively deploy various work tasks for 2025, and provide direction and lay a foundation for the arrangement of various work in 2025. Director Huang Zhiwei of Hebang Law Firm delivered a speech
At the beginning of the meeting, Director Huang Zhiwei first praised and summarized the 30th anniversary celebration of the law firm, expressed his high appreciation for the successful holding of the celebration, fully affirmed the achievements made by He Bang Law Firm in the past, and mobilized all partners to intensify efforts in introducing talents.
The meeting unanimously adopted multiple important resolutions
Through democratic voting, all partners unanimously passed the following resolutions:
(1) Renting Room 1605;
(2) Lawyers Liu Anquan and Wu Shuxiong are elected as Executive Directors of the Management Committee;
(III) Grant the Management Committee the decision-making authority over annual discretionary expenses;
(4) Promote Lu Xuhui, Ma Xiaobin, Liu Shijie, Wan Li, and Zhou Jinjing to partners; promote Guo Fei, Liang Huoshen, Zhang Wenbin, Liu Anquan, Wu Shuxiong, and Xu Kefan to senior partners;
(5) Gong Niya, a lawyer, has been appointed as a member of the Board of Supervisors, and Chen Qiqian, also a lawyer, has been appointed as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Board of Supervisors.
Determine the strategic objectives for branch office construction and international cooperation
Lawyer Yang Aibin, the chairman of the partner meeting, introduced the construction work of the Zhongshan branch of Hebang Law Firm, and pointed out that the establishment of the branch requires a focus on operational models, business cooperation methods, etc. Further discussions will be held through special meetings.
On behalf of the senior partners' meeting, Co-Chairman Wang Qi conveyed the details of the strategic cooperation agreement signed with the Anderson Law Firm in New York, USA, and confirmed that the focus of the supervisory board would be on urging and assisting the management committee in implementing the resolutions of the partners' meeting, as well as intensifying efforts to attract talents and establish branch offices and cooperative offices.
Establish professional team building and specific work plans
Director Jiang Ting, on behalf of Director Huang Aihua, reported the specific work plan outline for professional team building and the plan outline for improving the division of labor and collaboration level of the executive directors of the management committee. Lawyer Liu Anquan proposed to introduce a branch development system as soon as possible and establish a bidding database; Lawyer Wu Shuxiong stated that a long-term mechanism would be established to promote the construction of the Hebang Law Firm's debate team and the training of young lawyers; Lawyer Zhang Wenbin proposed to promote the cultural and sports work of Hebang Law Firm and continue to carry out the Hebang Lecture activities.
Secretary Zhong Qisheng delivered a speech
At the end of the meeting, Secretary Zhong Qisheng delivered a concluding speech. On behalf of the Gao Huo meeting, he conveyed the decision to vigorously attract outstanding partners and lawyers to join, and determined corresponding incentive measures for talent introduction.
Secretary Zhong also suggested that the law firm should prepare and complete the special general partnership restructuring within 2-3 years, and the specific plan will be discussed in detail at the next meeting of all partners. At the same time, he reported on the participation of lawyers from He Bang Law Firm in the professional committee of the Lawyers Association, and encouraged everyone to actively participate in the activities of the Lawyers Association and contribute to the legal profession.
