December 4, 2024, marks the 11th "National Constitution Day" in China. From December 1 to December 7, we celebrate the seventh "Constitution Publicity Week", with this year's theme being "Vigorously Promoting the Spirit of the Constitution and Promoting Further Comprehensive Deepening of Reform". As a fundamental law of the country, the Constitution plays a significant role in maintaining the legal order of the nation and safeguarding citizens' rights. To enhance the constitutional awareness of the entire society, promote the spirit of the Constitution, and strengthen its implementation, Jianshe Street in Yuexiu District held a "12.4 National Constitution Day" legal publicity event at Rongshutou Square on the morning of December 4.
Lawyers Zhou Jinjing and Su Junlang, as legal advisors to the Jianshe Street community in Yuexiu District, participated in this National Constitution Day promotional event alongside personnel from the Yuexiu District People's Procuratorate, the Yuexiu District Jianshe Street Judicial Office, and the Yuexiu District Jianshe Street Ping An Rule of Law Office.
This event provided legal consultation services and conducted legal publicity for citizens in the form of setting up public welfare booths. During the event, lawyers Zhou Jinjing and Su Junlang answered questions from on-site residents, distributed legal publicity brochures, and popularized knowledge of the laws and regulations of the Constitution of the People's Republic of China among the residents. They aimed to cultivate the thinking and habit of the masses in using legal means to safeguard their own rights and interests, prevent the use of non-legal means to protect rights, and guide community residents to understand, abide by, observe, and use the law in their daily lives.
