In order to further enhance the fire safety awareness of community residents, prevent potential fire safety hazards, and improve community fire safety capabilities, on March 18, 2024, the Jiangxia Second Community Residents Committee in Huangshi Street, Baiyun District, specially invited lawyers Xie Shenghui and Mao Ling from Hebang Law Firm to conduct a lecture on "Community Fire Safety - Building a Safe Home".
During the lecture, lawyers Xie Shenghui and Mao Ling, drawing from recent fire accident cases, explained the basic knowledge of fire to the participants in plain and easy-to-understand language. They vividly analyzed the causes of fires through pictures and videos, and systematically elaborated on the responsibilities and obligations stipulated in fire safety laws and regulations, fire prevention measures, and emergency response methods in case of a fire.
It is worth mentioning that in response to the frequent occurrence of fires caused by illegal parking and charging of electric vehicles in the community, the lecture specifically included a chapter on "Fire Safety Knowledge for Electric Vehicles". Two lawyers explained in detail the prevention and response measures for electric vehicle fires, emphasizing the importance of using electric vehicles in a standardized manner and avoiding illegal charging. This session provided residents with a clearer understanding of fire safety for electric vehicles and provided strong guidance for future community fire safety work.
Through this fire safety knowledge lecture, the common issues existing in community fire safety were objectively pointed out, emphasizing the importance of preventing fire safety hazards. This further enhanced the fire safety awareness of community residents, laying a solid foundation for ensuring fire safety in the community in the future.
