"Unite our efforts" represents the strength of unity among all Hebang people, where everyone contributes to make things flourish; "global perspective" embodies Hebang people's commitment to fulfilling their duties entrusted by others, being loyal to their work, and pursuing high service standards. This is the manifestation of Hebang's adherence to the "five hopes" proposed by the Party Group of the Ministry of Justice, striving to be good lawyers satisfactory to the Party and the people; it is also the distinctive feature and development direction of Hebang as it welcomes the new era and embraces the future. On January 19, 2024, Guangdong Hebang Law Firm held a grand 2023 annual year-end summary and commendation conference at the Westin Hotel in HNA. About 150 colleagues from the firm gathered for the feast, reviewing 2023 together and looking forward to 2024.
The year-end summary meeting was co-chaired by lawyer Xie Shenghui, deputy secretary of the Party branch of Hebang Law Firm, and lawyer Li Rong, executive director of the management committee.

(Director Huang Zhiwei)
Lawyer Huang Zhiwei, the director of Hebang Law Firm, presented the 2023 annual work report. He stated that the performance growth of Hebang in 2023 and its honorary title as one of the first "Guangzhou Law Firm Standard Management Demonstration Units" were inseparable from the efforts of all lawyers within the firm. In the work of 2024, the firm will continue to strengthen team building, expand foreign-related business, and enhance the construction of the database.

Lawyer Yang Aibin, Chairman of the Partners' Meeting and Secretary of the Party Branch at Hebang Law Firm, delivered a report on party building and strategic development. Chairman Yang emphasized that the professional and brand enhancement of Hebang Law Firm cannot be separated from party building. Hebang Law Firm must adhere to the guidance of party building, promote the construction of the firm through party building, and facilitate development through firm construction. He specially composed an "Annual Meeting Ode" for this Hebang Law Firm annual meeting, summarizing the current economic environment and industry difficulties in the most concise words, and proposing sound strategies to break the deadlock in light of the difficulties faced by Hebang Law Firm's development. He proposed that Hebang Law Firm should continue to adhere to the leadership of the Party, face challenges head-on, dare to strive, improve professionalism and refinement, and achieve a resurgence against the tide.

Lawyer Wang Qi, Co-Chair of the Partner Meeting and Co-Chair of the Supervisory Board of Hebang Law Firm, delivered a work report on the Supervisory Board. Chairman Wang Qi introduced and summarized the construction, performance, and work content of the Supervisory Board in 2023. He proposed measures to address the issues identified by the members of the Supervisory Board during the supervision process. He stated that the Supervisory Board needs to strengthen its enforcement efforts in the supervision process, enhance communication with the Management Committee and colleagues in the law firm, fully reflect the needs of all lawyers and staff in the law firm, and continuously improve the internal working mechanism of the Supervisory Board. In 2024, the Supervisory Board will continue to fulfill its duties as always.

Lawyer Zhong Qisheng, the Director of the Management Committee of Hebang Law Firm, delivered a work report on behalf of the Committee. Starting with the phrase "We have met many people, held numerous meetings, accomplished a lot, and achieved some successes," Director Zhong accurately summarized the role of the Management Committee and the responsibilities of its Director. Under the management and operation of the Committee, Hebang Law Firm has seen significant improvements in its office environment, service capabilities, and service quality, and has garnered numerous honors. In subsequent work, the Committee will continue to strive to accomplish practical tasks, promote the construction of a professional team, enhance publicity efforts, build the Hebang brand, and aim to be recognized as an excellent law firm in Guangzhou.
